Hartley's Cafe
Prahran Mission's Cafe is staffed by a team of dedicated staff, volunteers and participants from our programs.
The program aims to:
- Offer a variety of food and drinks that are nutritious and affordable, particularly for people on low incomes.
- Create a supportive and welcoming environment to isolated, lonely and disadvantaged members of the community.
- Function as a commercial Cafe which is open and accessible to the general public.

Prahran Mission offers a varied menu of a three course lunch that changes daily. Please come in to see what is on offer today.
How much does it cost?
Main meals from $3.90
Hartley's distributes bread FREE when it is available.
Our community dining room also runs the Winter Breakfast Program
The Winter Breakfast Program provides hot breakfast during winter to hundreds of people. For some this is the only hot meal of the day.
The breakfst costs:
$1.00 for valid Concession Card holders
$4.00 for non-concession rates
Hours: 7.30 a.m. till 9.30 a.m.
Commencing in the first week of June until last week of August.
