About the opportunity

Severe mental illness makes life really, really tough for many individuals – and too often they’ll find themselves grappling with homelessness and/or social isolation as a result. Funded by the Department of Health (VIC), our Mental Health Community Support Services program (MHCSS) works to combat this by providing outreach support to these people on an individual basis. On the front lines are our dedicated Support Workers, who are in turn supported by a strong leadership team – including Team Leaders for each region. And that’s where you come in.

About you

You’re an inspiring leader; the sort of person that your team can hold in high regard for the great example you provide to them. You’re analytical and a natural problem solver; the Regional Operations Manager can rely on your sound judgment. You’re caring and empathetic in the moment, yet are also able to take a big picture view.

Importantly, you understand us. You have a strong knowledge of our long-term goals, values, activities and work practices. You’re an experienced case manager who can demonstrate an understanding of the Mental Health Sector, including emerging issues and developments.

You will love this opportunity to demonstrate both your organisational and clinical skills as you mentor and lead your team.

This is a time limited role till 30 June 2018.
