Retail and Hospitality Operations

Community Service Programs are comprised of two separate programs; the Café, Coffee Shop and Winter Breakfast; and the Goodwill Shop, including the UnitingCare SHARE Christmas Gift Appeal. Each of these program areas addresses a particular material need that assists individuals in securing the fundamental elements of a decent life.

• Hartley's Cafe is located at 211 Chapel Street, operating Monday to Friday. The Cafe serves lunch from 11am - 2pm and the Winter Breakfast Program runs in June, July and August 7.30am-9.30am. Hot breakfast available by donation.

• The UnitingCare Opportunity Shops are located at 211 Chapel St, Prahran and 2/119-123 Lonsdale St, Dandenong. This unique retail experience offers employment opportunities to participants of the Prahran Mission Outreach Programs.

The Community Service Program area is also responsible for the orientation and induction of volunteers to Prahran Mission, if you would like more information about volunteering for the Cafe or any of Prahran Missions programs, please contact Prahran Mission on:
