Home-Based Outreach SupportThe psychiatric disability support programs provide psychosocial rehabilitation to people living across the Southern and Eastern metropolitan regions of Melbourne.
Our programs provide specialised assistance to such groups as the aged, women with a psychiatric illness (with dependent children in their care) and single men and women recovering from a mental illness.
We support people to live independently and safely in a way that is meaningful to them. We build on existing skills and strength and encourage participation within the community.
Participation in all our programs is voluntary.
Our services are coordinated and provided by experienced support workers. We aim to connect people with networks within their local community and we work collaboratively with a range of other service providers to ensure that participants are adequately supported and their presenting needs met in a timely and appropriate manner.
