Prahran Mission's innovative consumer-led program supports people who hear voices, their support and clinical workers, and families, friends and carers. In 2012 Voices Vic won a Gold Achievement Award at The Mental Health Services Conference, and the impact of our work continues to offer hope and recovery to people across Victoria.

Do you hear voices?
You are not alone.
We help set-up peer support groups for voice hearers, deliver talks and information sessions about the voice hearing experience, and run training about recovery from voices.
Our work is open to voice hearers, mental health professionals, and family, friends and carers of voice hearers.
We work with the hearing voices approach, which is informed by the wisdom of people who have recovered. We don’t try to get rid of voices, but instead work to help people make sense of them and eventually change the relationship with the voices.
